The Leeds Sanctuary Podcast: Justice – Women in Politics

Thank you so much for choosing to listen to The Leeds Sanctuary Podcast! In this episode of our “Justice” stream, Anna talks to Dr Sally Osei-Appiah. Sally is the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Learning & Development Manager at the University of Leeds, and she holds a PhD in Media and Communications with a focus on Women in Politics. This is a really timely conversation about the ways female politicians are portrayed in the media, with some helpful thoughts on how we can try to discern truth.

Please note that this podcast will be available to listen to from Thursday 13 June

Sally is also the Chair of the Black Female Academics Network, and you can learn more about that here: Black Female Academics’ Network: Overview
