Why do young offenders re-offend, and what gives them their best chance at rehabilitation into normal life?
In this episode of the Leeds Sanctuary podcast, we’re joined by Mark Screeton, Executive Director of local charity “In2Out”, which aims to reduce reoffending among young people through their mentoring and resettlement process. Mark and Emily discuss the factors that cause young people to commit crime, what they need to rehabilitate healthily and safely upon release, and the work of In2Out.
If you’ve been moved by some of the experiences Mark talks about, consider joining our Social Justice Lunches – a new community for anyone in Leeds who wants to make change happen, and meet other like-minded people.
