An Out of the Ordinary Leeds Sanctuary Christmas!

We are so excited to share our Christmas plans with you! Our regular communities will all take on a festive twist, and we’ll be hosting TWO special events at Leeds Dock which will be an opportunity to get together with friends and neighbours to share in some Christmas spirit.

Our first event on Thursday 14 December will be Curry & Carols at Mumtaz, LS10 1PJ, meeting at 7.30pm . You can enjoy a choice of curry with sundries, rice, naan bread and a soft drink for £15, while a live musician plays Christmas Carols in the background (feel free to join in!). You’re welcome to come on your own or in a group – for more information and to book, please visit Eventbrite.

Our second event will be Carols in the Community on Tuesday 19 December. Head to Fearns (LS10 1PZ) to grab a mince pie and a drink, in time to join in singing Christmas Carols along with the University of Leeds Wind and Concert Band from 5.30pm.

As well as hosting these two events, we’ll be celebrating Christmas throughout December with our regular communities. Why not join us for one of our meetings? Find out more on our Events and Communities pages.

We appreciate that Christmas can be a challenging time for many reasons, and so we will ensure a Mental Health First Aider is available at all of our communities and events through December. Please click here to see who you can look out for.

If you would like to come to any of our onsite events but anticipate that this might present challenges for you, please get in touch with us and we can have a conversation about accessibility.

We will be taking photos at these events which may be used both digitally and in print for marketing and information purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed, please let one of our Team know at the event.

Our Christmas celebrations tie in with the Methodist Church’s Out of the Ordinary Christmas campaign. Where do you notice the extraordinary in your ordinary places and spaces this Christmas?
