Growing with the Enneagram: Understanding Wings and Arrows

We at Leeds Sanctuary love The Enneagram, and are delighted to announce our second retreat day for 2023 – Understanding Wings and Arrows.

If you haven’t come across it before, the Enneagram is a personality typing tool which many people – whether they consider themselves spiritual or not – have found to be incredibly helpful in better understanding their thought processes, behaviours and what motivates them, as well as what growth looks like for them.

This Retreat Day will be on Saturday 29 April from 10am – 3pm, and will be facilitated by Revd Jude Smith and Anna Bland. If you too have some knowledge of the Enneagram, you might already know what “Wings” and “Arrows” are, but if not, don’t worry! All will be explained on the day. As usual, we’ll be creating a safe space of reflection and learning, both about yourself and others.

If you don’t know your Enneagram type, do get in touch with anna.bland@leedssanctuary.org.uk and she can arrange for you to have a typing interview with Revd Jude Smith ahead of the day.

The day will take place at our city centre office on 43 The Calls (LS2 7EY) from 10am – 3pm, and will be co-hosted by Anna from Leeds Sanctuary. Our office has an accessible entrance which can be found on the right-hand side of the building, through the residents’ car park. If you’re walking from Leeds City Centre, our office is approximately 10 minutes from the Train Station (directions can be found here) or 5 minutes from the Bus Station (directions here).

You can book your place at our listing on Eventbrite.

At Leeds Sanctuary, we value the mental and physical wellbeing of every individual. With this in mind, a Mental Health First Aider, Anna, will be available for a conversation if any challenging topics arise during the session.

Like many organisations, we like to take photos and sometimes short videos so that we can showcase the work we’re doing in our various digital and print communications. If you would prefer not to be in any photos, please let us know by email or during the session, and we will ensure that you are not featured.
