Sketch Walk: David Oluwale and Hibiscus Rising

We are thrilled to share the details of our first Sketch Walk in 2024, in partnership with Leeds Church Institute and Sketch Club Social.

We will be meeting at our office at 43 The Calls on the evening of Monday 11 March, walking to David Oluwale Bridge and “Hibiscus Rising” to learn more about our city’s history, with a focus on faith and racial justice.

All art materials will be provided, and no experience is necessary; only your interest! Visit Eventbrite to book your place.

Additional Information

Please wear suitable clothing for the weather conditions on the day; we encourage you to wear layers and bring along something waterproof if you are planning to sit down whilst sketching.

If you would like to come but have concerns about the accessibility of the walking route, please contact Anna to chat this through.

You can find details of our Safeguarding policy here. A Mental Health First Aider (Anna) will be available for a conversation should you find any of the topics challenging.

We like to take photos and videos at our events and communities. If you would like to be left out of any photos or videos, please let a member of the team know at the event.
