We are pleased to announce that we will be running a New Year Wellbeing Course starting on 11 January, at Leeds Dock.
Wellbeing is a key element of the work we do here at Leeds Sanctuary. We believe in holistic wellbeing that sees the whole of you, as we know that when one area of our life feels difficult, our whole life feels difficult. We frame our ideas about wellbeing around a Christian-inspired concept of Human Flourishing. In every area of our life we have the potential to flourish and experience moments of wholeness.
One framework in which we can understand this is through the 5 Ways to Wellbeing; a well-researched, simple and holistic idea to help each of us think of ways to can work towards flourishing.
Working with our friends at Touchstone in Bradford, we created a 5-week course, looking at each of these Ways in turn. The next course will run on Tuesdays 11, 18, 25 January and 01, 08 February at Leeds Dock, The Boulevard, Leeds, LS10 1PZ. Refreshments will be served from 5.30pm, and the session will run from 6-7pm.
If you’d like to book your place, please follow this link, or contact Anna Bland for more information.
We are expecting to be able to run this course face-to-face, however we will be keeping an eye on guidance around Coronavirus in the coming weeks, and will contact course participants in the week running up to the course regarding safety measures we will be putting in place and any changes to the course that need to be made.
